Will DVDs from AsianScreens play on my DVD player? |
AsianScreens does not guarantee playback of DVD titles we ship on all brands/models of DVD players. We recommend, however, that they be viewed using DVD players that support the DVD-R format. |
Will DVDs from AsianScreens play on my computer? |
Yes, but please be sure of the following:
Why is it that a DVD I bought from AsianScreens seems to be shorter than its listed length on the website? |
DVD movie times listed on our site are approximate. Please note that movie components such as special features, multiple-angle shots and photo galleries do contribute towards DVD movie lengths and thus, perceived differences in the actual length of a title may be a result of not accounting for said components. |
Why do some DVDs not have menus? |
DVD titles may come without menus, because they are older and have been transferred in their entirety from their VHS versions. Titles without menus are noted as such on our website. |
What may cause a DVD I bought from AsianScreens to not run on my player? |
Assuming your player supports the DVD-R format, we suggest inspecting both the DVD and your player for dust and then try playing it again. Actually, sometimes it is just the mere act of reinserting a DVD into your player that will make it viewable since it may not have been properly balanced in the drive the first time. |

What is the best way to view VCDs from AsianScreens? |
We strongly suggest viewing the VCDs on a PC. Many people use Microsoft Windows Media Player (partly because it is free). Based on our experience, though, the best way to view VCDs on a PC is through using Intervideo WinDVD. If you are willing to spend the money, we would certainly recommend that you purchase the software for Intervideo WinDVD. You can find comprehensive information about Intervideo WinDVD at http://www.intervideo.com. |

Can I view titles I buy from AsianScreens on a DVD/VCD player? |
Most titles purchased from AsianScreens can be played on CD-R-compliant DVD/VCD players. Please note, however, that we only guarantee playback of all titles via PC and are not responsible for inability to view our titles on so-called "CD-R-compliant" DVD/VCD players. For a partial listing of DVD/VCD players that are CD-R-compliant, please visit VCDHelp.com at http://www.vcdhelp.com. |

What does it mean when a movie for sale has the phrase "DivX Format" next to it, such as Riko Akina's "Beloved Lollipop Girl"? |
In order to view such a title on a PC, you will need to download DivX software (to be used in conjunction with your existing player) from a source such as DivX Digest. For those of you unfamiliar with DivX technology, DivX is a video codec. A video codec is basically software that encodes and decodes video. And the DivX codec is based on a type of video compression called MPEG-4. |
Are DVD versions of movies longer in length than those available on AsianScreens on VCD? |
In general, yes. It is often the case that the DVD version of a movie has more content than its VCD counterpart. |

No, unfortunately, the U.S.P.S. does not have a service that provides for delivery to an alternate address in case you are not home at time of delivery. Why is it that some well-known JAV idols don't have as many movies listed on AsianScreens as some of their less popular peers? |
Though AsianScreens aims to provide a comprehensive listing of JAV idols and movies, we must admit we try and focus on the more popular ones. However, if you find that one of your favorite idols isn't getting enough attention from AsianScreens or if you have any qualms at all about our content, please email us via our contact us page and we'll be sure to take a look at what you have to say. If there is a problem, we'll do our best to remedy it. Remember - AsianScreens always wants to take the extra step whenever it can to please its audience. |
I looked on other sites and found information in AsianScreens' idol profiles and/or movie information that differed from yours. Why is this? |
We at AsianScreens do our best to ensure the accuracy of information listed on our site. Some discrepancies result from varying information being disseminated via the Web and other media. And some "errors" might be the result of the simple fact that just as seasons change, so do our bodies - it can happen that an idol's tits would be listed as 1 or 2 cm bigger this year than they were a year ago, right? |
How often does AsianScreens add new titles? |
We add new titles almost on a weekly basis. The number we add varies greatly from week to week, but we aim to average at least 75 a week. |
Are titles with "n/a" appearing in the shopping cart column permanently unavailable? |
Titles that have "n/a" appearing in the shopping cart column are unavailable indefinitely. The most likely reasons for their inclusion are either we catalogued them on our site by mistake or vendor-related issues. If nothing else, we feel that leaving information pertinent to such titles may be of use to visitors of our site. |
